English TV Chanel will empower the Kurds of the Diaspora

Over the past two decades, there has been a substantial increase in the number of Kurds in the diaspora. At present, the new generation is well-positioned to effectively advocate for the Kurdish cause within the governmental arenas of the countries where Kurds have settled.

However, a significant challenge lies in the absence of a dedicated broadcast platform for expressing their sentiments. Instead of contemplating the creation of a website or magazine, it is prudent for the new generation to consider establishing an English Channel for the diaspora centre to serve as their collective voice.

While Kurdistan boasts numerous Kurdish TV broadcasts, the absence of a single English Channel for diaspora Kurds has become notably apparent and is increasingly necessary for several reasons.
Firstly, Kurds need to communicate their political case to external audiences, as the issue transcends local concerns and requires external support for viable solutions.

Given the substantial number of Kurds residing in English-speaking countries, spanning over two generations, many of whom may not speak Kurdish, an English Channel becomes instrumental in providing them with a platform to actively engage and contribute positively to the future resolution of the Kurdish problem.

Furthermore, the maturation of Kurdish businesses to a point where direct broadcasts for advertising are feasible highlights the economic benefits of an English TV channel. This channel can serve as a valuable resource for Kurdish enterprises, fostering a robust economic foundation for Kurdish communities globally.

Lastly, the envisioned TV channel can significantly enhance communication among Kurds, particularly the new generation, where linguistic diversity poses a challenge. In conclusion, the establishment of an English Channel for diaspora Kurds, without exceptions, is a strategic move to enhance organizational coherence and thoughtful engagement with everyday Kurdish concerns, thereby empowering Kurds to address and advance their collective interests on a global scale.
