Letter to Superme leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ali Khameni

I am writing to you with deep concern and an earnest appeal for justice. My name is Zhina Peshraw, and I, regrettably, represent one of the countless victims of a tragic incident that unfolded at the hands of your forces. At the tender age of eleven months, my life was abruptly taken away due to the impact of your child-killing missiles during yet another night of oppression.

As a leader who proclaims to guide the Islamic Revolution and uphold the principles of the Qur’an, it is disheartening to witness the manifestation of this oppressive system that has victimized me and numerous others across the Middle East and the Islamic world.

Though my earthly existence has come to an end, I offer you a solemn suggestion amidst the cruelty and unscrupulousness that has befallen me. I suggest that you refrain from placing unwarranted trust in those around you—generals, Revolutionary Guards, and advisors—who may provide misinformation tainted with hatred and resentment. I, a celestial butterfly, pose no threat to the security of your people, and yet, false narratives have led to the deployment of precision missiles that claimed my innocent life.

The claim that I, an eleven-month-old, could be perceived as a Mossad officer is beyond reason. Yet, your generals proudly assert this narrative, tarnishing the truth. What harm could a child like me have posed to warrant such a ruthless end? As I now reside in heaven, bathed in divine light and eternal bliss, I question the logic that sanctioned the termination of my fleeting earthly existence.

In heaven, I am joined by countless others who fell victim to the oppressive political system you preside over. They, too, express disdain for your leadership, accusing you of distorting the true essence of Islam, the Qur’an, and the divine program of Allah. Citizens of your own nation share this sentiment, all mourning lives lost under your regime.

You often speak of enemies and global arrogance, designating Israel as a primary adversary. With the knowledge that you possess precision missiles capable of reaching Israeli territory, one must question the hesitation to act decisively against this proclaimed foe. Shooting a few missiles towards Israel could serve to convince your own people, but it appears that courage falters when faced with actions beyond targeting civilians and innocent children.

In the last four decades, have you allocated hundreds of billions of dollars to the development of missiles and ammunitions, ultimately resulting in the loss of innocent lives, particularly children?

As history attests, leaders who perpetrate injustice are eventually erased from the annals of time. The sun of injustice may seem powerful, but it inevitably sets before the court of the innocent.

You possess rockets, and we hold steadfast in Allah. You may take pride in your missiles and acts of oppression, while our reliance remains solely on Allah.

Zhina Peshraw
